A Day of Connection, Conversation & Support
For many Targeted Individuals (TIs), opportunities to gather in person with others who truly understand are rare. This special gathering brings together TIs from Michigan, Ohio, and surrounding states for a day of friendship, conversation, activities, and community at beautiful Blendon Woods Metro Park.
Whether you're attending your first TI event or reconnecting with familiar faces, you'll find a welcoming space to relax, connect, and spend time with others who share a common understanding.
More than a picnic, this is a chance to build friendships, strengthen connections, and be reminded that you are not alone.

Chapter One
Food & Refreshments
Brats, burgers, and hot dogs straight off the grill — with sides, desserts, and plenty to go around. Lunch is on us.
Chapter Two
Games & Activities
Cornhole, volleyball, music, and easy afternoon competition. Join a game or just cheer from the shade.
Chapter Three
Community Connection
Walk in as a stranger, leave with friends. Unhurried time and space to talk with people who truly understand.
Chapter Four
Special Guests & Advocates
VIPs are being invited, including leaders in government and civil liberties, to stand with our community.
Last year, a staffer from Senator Gary Peters' office attended and was warmly welcomed.
Chapter Five
Surprise Giveaways
A few attendees will be randomly drawn for prizes during the afternoon. You have to be there to win.
Guests are also welcome to bring sealed, store-bought items to share.
